On the afternoon of November 19, 2022, Hop Luc College of Medicine and Pharmacy solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the 2022-2023 school year; awarded graduation certificates to students of the 10th course (2019-2022 school year) and celebrated the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2022).

On behalf of the Board of Directors, MSc. Nguyen Thi Hoa – Vice Principal of Hop Luc College of Medicine and Pharmacy sent congratulations to the new students of the 13th course. The 2021 – 2022 school year is an extremely difficult year for the education sector in the country in general and Hop Luc College of Medicine and Pharmacy in particular due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The school has quickly changed its teaching and training management methods, applied information technology, and successfully implemented the dual goal of “Ensuring the quality of education and training while effectively preventing the Covid-19 epidemic”. The emulation movement “Teach well, learn well”. Focus on fostering the qualities and ethics of teachers, improving professional qualifications, continuing to promote the tradition of more than 13 years of building and developing with proud achievements.
Regarding enrollment: The school is always at the forefront of enrollment in private schools in the province. With the school’s reputation, although enrollment still faces many difficulties, in 2020, 2021, 2022, the school has completed the assigned targets of the Department of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs.
Cultural – Sports Movement: The school’s students actively participate in the movement activities of the Corporation and the organizing unit, with many proud achievements such as: 5 first prizes in the Entrepreneur Singing Festival 2015 – 2019; Second prize in the Creative Workspace Competition on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day; First prize in the Family Relay Race on June 1; First prize in the Recycled Fashion Competition; 02 third prizes in the cross-country race organized by the Youth Union of agencies and enterprises of Thanh Hoa province.
Social security work: Over the years, the school has had meaningful activities, which is to share difficulties with people in flood-affected highlands. In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers and students have participated in the support program, the work of preventing the Covid-19 epidemic and have been recognized by organizations and unions: 02 teachers were awarded the Ho Chi Minh Badge by the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit; 03 teachers were awarded the Commemorative Medal for the development of the Vietnamese healthcare sector by the Chairman of the Vietnam Private Hospital Association. In particular, 2 students were awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs for their achievements in the work of preventing the Covid-19 epidemic.
Party building work among students: The school Party cell has admitted 5 party members and 25 party members are exemplary masses continuing the tradition of the school Party cell.
Mrs. Vu Thi Huong – Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs acknowledged and commended the achievements of teachers and students of the school in the past school year. The school needs to continue to thoroughly grasp the ideology; apply information technology in teaching, promote the strengths of Hop Luc General Hospital, from modern equipment to the professional qualifications and working style of the team of doctors and hospital staff.

At the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh – Party Secretary, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of the Corporation congratulated the staff, teachers and students of the school. Although the past school year encountered many difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the teachers and students of the school were determined to overcome difficulties and excellently complete the assigned tasks. Hopefully, the Board of Directors of the school and the Board of Management will promote the strength of the combined Institute – School training model, striving to become the first private university in Thanh Hoa province according to the school’s master plan set forth by the Board of Directors of the Corporation. At the same time, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh also sent his congratulations to the Board of Directors and teachers of the school on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, November 20.

Immediately after the Opening Ceremony, the graduation ceremony for students of the 10th course (School year 2019 – 2022) was held. After 3 years of studying at Hop Luc College of Medicine and Pharmacy, students of the school not only studied and improved their professional knowledge but also trained in the necessary skills for future work. Of the 303 students considered for graduation, 110 graduated with honors (accounting for 36.3%), 193 students with good grades (63.7%). This achievement is a testament to the continuous efforts of the students in studying and training during their three years at the school. Hopefully, after receiving their diplomas, all of you will officially devote your youth, dynamism, enthusiasm, along with the knowledge and skills you have learned, to the cause of caring for and protecting people’s health. In particular, the President of the Vietnam Private Hospital Association signed a decision to award 05 medals “For the cause of developing private healthcare in Vietnam; The Board of Directors of Hop Luc College of Medicine and Pharmacy also signed a decision to award 10 certificates of merit to cadres and teachers with achievements of “Excellent completion of tasks in the 2021-2022 school year”; 30 certificates of merit to students with high achievements in studying and training course 10 and the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Hop Luc Joint Stock Corporation also awarded certificates of merit to 10 youth union members “Having outstanding achievements in union work and youth movements in the 2021-2022 school year”.
